Click here for our Facebook page. Acres Away offers several
guided trail ride options on our quiet, well-trained and
dependable horses. You will be warmly welcomed to our farm by
one of our guides who will match you with the perfect horse.
Your ride will start off with a brief safety course and
instruction in our outdoor riding ring before hitting the
trails! While on the trail you and your family may have the
chance to see some of our local wildlife such as white tail
deer, turkeys, chipmunks, squirrels, red-tailed hawks and
various types of birds. Our trail rides are private with your
own guide. We want to personalize your horseback riding
experience; we won't group you with other riders to fill a
quota! All trail rides are in western-style tack for your
comfort. We have several different breeds of horses for you to
ride from Quarter Horses to Appaloosas to the gaited Tennessee
Walking Horses and you might even have the chance to ride a once
wild (but now tame, we promise!) Mustang! Trail rides are walk
only. Any other gaits are up to the discretion of the guide
according to the whole group's riding abilities! Your safety is
our priority! Option One - Basic 1 Hour Trail Ride Our one
hour trail rides start out with getting you getting matched to
your perfect horse as we take you and your family's safety here
at Acres Away very serious. Your guide will start you off with a
brief and comforting confidence-building 15 minute instructional
safety course on riding your horse in our outdoor riding ring.
You will then hit the trail at a walk-only pace and enjoy your
time in the saddle while going through our beautiful wooded
acres! Our experienced guides will answer all questions and help
you overcome any anxiety you may have! Price - $45.00 per person
Option Two - 1 Hour Trail Ride & Bonfire with S'mores Bar Come
enjoy a one hour trail ride (same as option one) and after your
ride have some fun making your own s'mores over a rustic
bonfire! We will provide you with skewers (or if you're feeling
brave just grab a stick!), marshmellows, a variety of chocolate
and graham crackers! Price - $55.00 per person Option Three -
Trail Ride and Picnic After a one hour trail ride, have a
delightful picnic at a picturesque spot on our farm. Please view
our menu on our website and we will have our favorite local
restaurant prepare your delicious sandwiches before your
arrival. All sandwiches come with choice of chips or pretzels
and a drink. Price - $65.00 per person. (ADDED: February 25,
